Carrie A. King MBA, ChFC®
Carrie A. King (formerly Volmer) joined her current broker-dealer, now Equitable Advisors, in 2009 after earning her MBA from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Management with an emphasis in Equine Management from National American University in Rapid City, SD.
She focuses on comprehensive financial planning with affluent individuals, families, and businesses. In addition to her MBA, Carrie holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation, which emphasizes holistic, thorough financial planning through completion of eight advanced learning topics.
Carrie is extremely active outdoors and loves to run, mountain bike, wake surf, camp, and practice yoga. Her greatest passion outside of her career is showing horses in the National Reined Cow Horse Association events. She competes in at least four major events annually around the country on her own horses. Her gelding "Sliver of Majesty" was recently the 2022 NRCHA Open Novice Derby Champion and also the 2022 SRCHA Open Derby Champion.
Carrie is married to Bryant King, who is also a financial professional with Equitable Advisors. Carrie and Bryant have one daughter, Ava Louise, who was born in 2022.
